The Tecnológico de Monterrey Education Group has been recognized for the sixth consecutive year as one of thebest places to work for the LGBTQ+ community.
The HRC Equity MX 2026 award was given by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation, which is the educational arm of the largest LGBTQ+ rights organization in the United States.
240 Mexican companies participated in the ninth annual survey conducted by the organization, of which 189 obtained the “Best Places to Work LGBTQ+ 2026” certification.
The Tecnológico de Monterrey Education Group - which includes Tec de Monterrey, Tecmilenio, and TecSalud - was the only education group to achieve this recognition.
“We always put people at the center of our decisions and aim to cultivate a values-based culture that drives sustainability, promotes human dignity, and strengthens diversity and inclusion,” said Hernán García, Vice President for Talent at the group.

García emphasized that the institution’s purpose is to transform the lives of individuals and communities through education, and that it does this by respecting diversity.
“The renewal of this accreditation reaffirms our commitment to an institution that celebrates and respects diversity,” he said.
“We will continue working with determination to have a positive and sustainable impact in our communities, and to ensure that the Tec remains a space where every person feels valued, safe, and respected,” he added.
In addition, Jessica González, Vice President for Inclusion, Integrity and Compliance, stated: “Through our 2030 vision, we are able to reaffirm our commitment to human dignity, diversity, and inclusion across all parts of the Education Group.
“To make this vision a reality, it’s key to create environments in which all people are respected and valued".
